Arnold van der Garde

Arnold van der Garde is affiliated with De Vertrouwenspersoon.

Arnold works with individuals, families, teams, and organizations in transition. He does this as a coach, counselor, process facilitator, researcher, confidential advisor, and supervisor. He has a background in consultancy and has carried out assignments for many different (international) organizations.

After completing his university education, Arnold worked for 10 years at a large international ICT service provider. Recognizing the crucial role of human behavior in the success of projects, he then spent another 10 years at a pioneering consultancy firm specializing in the human aspects of organizing and change management. He carried out assignments for clients and also held roles as (account) manager and partner, gaining extensive leadership experience at various levels.

Since 2008, Arnold has been working independently through his own company as an advisor, coach, and counselor. From 2009 to 2011, he completed a postgraduate program in coaching, counseling, and consulting.

Arnold is a member of several permanent complaints committees, including the National Complaints Committee on Undesirable Behavior of the Association of Dutch Municipalities. Additionally, he works as a researcher in ad-hoc investigative committees, examining complaints, reports, and signals related to misconduct and integrity issues. Arnold is licensed to conduct work as a private investigator.

As a certified confidential advisor, Arnold is affiliated with the National Association of Confidential Advisors (LVVV) and assists organizations in actively implementing their psychosocial work environment (PSA) policy, both preventively and curatively.

Due to his personality and experience, Arnold quickly gains the trust of people from diverse backgrounds and in various roles. He is analytical, empathetic, and pragmatic in finding solutions. He has a positive outlook on life and a deep trust in the resilience and vitality of people.
